I've been happily without a permanent full-time job for about a year now, doing a lot of independent contract work and open source development, and now I've decided to let people know what I'm doing. All my spare time has been spent on setting up a company that provides services related to data acquisition on Linux. I'm actively looking for new clients. I'm planning to spend a lot of time in the next 6 months or so bringing together various open-source projects and improving the status of data acquisition on Linux.
