Hi, Just for users of Fedora Core 4 (fc4) who are tempted to install comedi: I installed the comedi on a Fedora Core 4 system. The latest released version comedi-0.7.70 did not work directly for me. 'make install' did copy the module files *.ko to the /lib/modules/2.6.12-1398_FC4/ directory, but the command 'modprobe cb_pcidas64' (or any other driver) returned 'file not found'. Similar to an earlier report on this email-archive for an earlier fedora core release. Installing the latest cvs-snapshot (and first running autogen.sh) and following the usual steps outlined in the INSTALL file worked without any problems. Regards, and thanks to all that made comedi!
