Hi Gianluca

Do you know what in the driver could be causing "false" counting at rest?  In 
other words if my apparatus is completely stationary and I tap the table its 
sitting on, the encoder count increments.  This does not happen with the 
other driver.  This manifests itself as drift when there is jitter in the 
control signal.
