is there a simple comedi program/script that will read the memory locations of an attached PCI board ? [14:23] <deminemi> i have a problem talking to a board that appears to attach ( demo/info /dev/comedi0 returns the proper info, and cat /proc/comedi shows the correct board name) [14:24] <deminemi> ./tut1 and all the others in comedilib/demo give me a " [14:24] <deminemi> BUG in do_test_for_insn_bits() [14:24] <deminemi> : Connection timed out [14:25] <deminemi> " which my good friend google seems to think is a usbdux hotplugging problem :-\ I have been attempting to attach a dumb digital to analog board and have reached a point where it appears to be working. dmesg says the board attached successfully, cat /proc/comedi shows the correct board name, and comedilib/demo/info outputs the correct information. However whenever i run any of the tests i get the attached message. Is there something that i am missing or an error i have made? I googled around a bit, but all the sites that i find have to do with usb-dux and hotplugging, neither of which i am using ( i am still using probe, since disconnecting a pci board while the computer is running would be very unwise ). output of comedilib/demo/tut1: BUG in do_test_for_insn_bits() : Connection timed out -1209365796 thanks, - Christophe
