The comedi maillist is not only something where you suppose to chat live, but in spite of rather limited documentation it's the only way not to get lost with COMEDI issues. Therefore, there should be of much interest to have a good and searchable archive of old messages, for which google list is brilliant. And yes, it sends emails just like any other old-style mail manager. > fmh> I'm thinking of moving the comedi mailing list to google groups. > Personally, I prefer keeping the discussion as an email list. > (Is it really that hard to upgrade to a newer version of Mailman?) > Why? > It's not that I don't like GUIs, but I do almost all of my work using > Emacs/Gnus.
