I have not tackled this file yet :-) BTW, I am spending quite some time on this documentation effort now. So, it would be nice to hear from you (and David Schleef) whether you think it's worthwhile going on with it. And to get some input. For example, which of the large set of new functions in the comedi API must get a documentation entry. Or do you think it has been a good idea of mine to put so much internal links in the document (I haven't finished yet), or do you think it's overkill? Anyway, I've put my last efforts on <http://people.mech.kuleuven.ac.be/~bruyninc/comedi/> The .sgml files are in that directory; the .you can download them with their full address, eg. <http://people.mech.kuleuven.ac.be/~bruyninc/comedi/comedilib.sgml> Feel free to use (and change) them or not :-) And another question, about the counter/timer specifications: there is a section in the other.sgml file, but there is also a file called "counter-spec" in comedi-0.7.66/Documentation/comedi. Which one is to be used when implementing a counter card driver? Or do you have suggestions for a new specification of counter/timer cards?
