I am having some issues with getting Comedi installed. I am having the same problem on both my Gentoo machines so it must be a configuration/installation issue. It could also be an ID 10 T error! Right now I am using a 2.6.12.5 vanilla kernel. I checked the latest CVS versions of comedi and comedilib last night. Both compiled just fine. I need to fine tune the configure options so that installation is more correct for the gentoo distro. I have verified that both my DAQCard-DIO-24 and DAQCard-6062E work in windows. The PCMCIA bridge is functioning since my PCMCIA-232/2 works as does my Enterasys orinoco based wireless card. However I only get th e low beep tone when I install the 6062E. If memory serves me correctly, this occurs when no driver is loaded. The modules will install without error but comedi_config /dev/comedi0 ni_mio_cs returns: Configure failed!: Input/output error Check kernel log for more information Possible reasons for failure: Driver not found Any ideas where to start? Is this a configuration issue from during the compile process? Thanks, Duane
