help with rtai

hi, has anyone succesfully installed comedi on the 2.4.18 rtai patched  kernel. I downloaded a brain dead install redhat linux that came with  rtai allready in the kernel. i tried compiling the comedi driver :  first downloading a clean kernel source and following the instructions  in the readme, but i still get errors. the rtai is 3.2. if anyone has  worked with this specific kernel plese help me!!
