Hi Folks,
I think it's a good idea because this romoves the main obstacle just now
for many not so experienced users: compiling kernel modules. And distros
such as Debian and Ubuntu have been lacking comedi kernel modules for
quite a while. A while ago I had integrated comedi into the early 2.6.x
kernels. I might find the sed script somewhere which converted the
comedi drivers on the fly to fit into the kernel.
