Hi folks, So unless someone has an objection, I'm going to try to get some folks over at the Linux Driver Project working on prepping comedi for inclusion in the mainline kernel. Unfortunately, it's not likely that I'll have any time to contribute before the end of the year. I think it'd be great to see comedi as the canonical data acquisition library for Linux and built into the kernels of a wide variety of distributions. To my understanding, there are a bunch of DAQ drivers in the mainline kernel that would benefit from a standardized userspace interface. Let me know if you have any comments or would like to be involved.
